What competences would Vincent van Gogh have needed to sell more of his paintings in his lifetime? It is hard for anyone to answer this question, but for today’s artists and creative sector stakeholders, a new Erasmus + project entitled ‘BidToArt’ will provide tips to help you identify these competences.
This project will focus on the social and educational value of European cultural heritage by supporting individuals involved in its protection and dissemination (such as musicians, painters, woodworkers, textile and other artists) in acquiring and developing basic skills and key competences, using innovative practices in the digital era.
AIM
The BidToArt project aims to boost digital skills to promote entrepreneurship for artists and cultural heritage sectors.
OBJECTIVES
The project objectives are to:
Promote the social and educational value of European cultural heritage, its contribution to job creation, economic growth and social cohesion.
Extend competencies of trainers, educators, social workers and other adult education professionals who work directly with people at risk of social exclusion or in the field of cultural promotion.
Foster innovation of musicians, painters, woodworkers, textile and other artists at risk of social exclusion in order to create new forms of cultural experience, dissemination and new business models with new market potential.

www.coeso.orgCo&So is a consortium of cooperatives located in Florence, Italy, which includes 40 cooperatives working in the social, educational and cultural field. Co&So has 29 employees who provide services to the associated cooperatives, the main services are: administration, monitoring the calls and submitting tenders mostly on public procurement, offering European opportunities in order to promote innovation in the cooperatives in terms of improving employees’ competences and services, quality certification, communication. All together the staff working in the associated cooperatives is 3000 professionals and the annual income of Co&So is about €90.000.000 which is composed by the services provided by all the cooperatives. In Co&so there is a special office just working on European funding with very skilled staff who has more than 10 years of experience.
Co&So is also a training Agency to provide training (both face-to-face, online and blended) to disadvantaged categories and updating training for the staff of its cooperatives. Co&so is a key player in the field of Inclusion and one of its aims is to overcome all the prejudices connected to people coming from a different culture and promoting a gender policy.
